MOBILE, Ala. (AP) -- A church music minister has surrendered to police after he was charged with using a stun gun to jolt a Mobile area pastor during a fight over pay.
The Mobile Press-Register reports that Simone Moore turned himself in at the Mobile County Metro Jail late Tuesday and was later released on $1,000 bail.
Investigators have charged the 46-year-old with third-degree assault. They claim that Moore used a stun gun to shock the Rev. Darryl Riley during a fight that began at the New Welcome Baptist Church when Moore was handed his final paycheck.
Authorities say church Deacon Harvey Hunt stabbed the musician's mother, Agolia Moore, during the brawl. He's been charged with assault.
