New Suspect in Hendershot Murder

Parker police now have a fourth suspect in custody for the murder of 16 year old Jacob Hendershot.

Stephanie Pistey, 18, was arrested Monday and charged with accessory to murder. Investigators say Pistey was there when Hendershot was killed and helped cover it up. Authorities say posts on Pistey’s Facebook helped investigators gather enough evidence to arrest her.
Three other people are also charged in connection to Hendershot’s murder, James Gay, 20, and Joel Millsap, 25, and William Henry Chase, 17. Police found Hendershot’s body in the woods near the Dupont Bridge last month.

Investigators say the teen was killed because Pistey, Chase’s girlfriend, claimed Hendershot raped her.
