PANAMA CITY, Fla. -- Officials at the Panama City Rescue Mission say 31-year-old Karim Bien-Aime had an altercation with staff members Tuesday afternoon and was asked to leave. Executive Director Billy Fox says the man was "out of control."
Police say Bien-Aime hit an officer in the eye, knocked him to the ground and bit him on the head. The officer, who was not identified, was treated at the scene.
The Panama City News Herald reports officers used a stun-gun to subdue the man, who fell to the ground and hit his head on the concrete.
He was taken to a hospital for treatment before being booked into Bay County Jail.
