Panama City Beach City Council members will vote Thursday on redrawing its wards boundaries.
City Manager, Richard Jackson said new neighborhoods have developed over the past couple decades so the supervisor of Elections asked them to redraw the lines. That means voters could have new council members representing them.
If the new maps are approved by the City Council Thursday, residents will have the final say in a special election in November.
