Time is running out for what was once a landmark restaurant in Panama City Beach.
The owners of what’s left of the Treasure Ship Restaurant have about a week to submit plans for cleaning-up the property. The Treasure Ship was gutted by fire in April 2010. Owner Lisa Todd pulled his demolition permit signed on June 2nd, but the permit has now expired, and county officials are threatening to tear down the building as soon as next week.
If the county demolishes the Treasure Ship, it will cost the owners more money.
