OZARK, Ala. Police have apprehended a teenager who faces a murder charge in the shooting death of another teen in Ozark.
The teen who was killed in Sunday night's shooting was identified as 17-year-old Christian Markoff of Ozark.
Authorities say 18-year-old Quashawn Marquise Knight has been charged with murder in Markoff's death. It wasn't known early Tuesday whether Knight has a lawyer.
Ozark Police Chief Tony Spivey said a 15-year-old, who has not been named, was taken into custody Monday and was being held at the Southeast Alabama Juvenile Diversion Center.
Markoff and one of the suspects were students at Carroll High School.
Spivey said they discovered a possible motive for the shooting, but he didn't release the details.
