ATLANTA (AP) -- Former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich will teach a course on judicial review at the University of Georgia beginning in the spring.
He will be in the school of law as a Carl E. Sanders Political Leadership Scholar.
School officials say the high-profile instructor will help students better understand the interplay of law, politics and policy.
The scholar position is named for Georgia's former governor, who was a Georgia law school alumnus. It was created so students could learn from people who have established themselves as political leaders.
