Feds Indict Tenn. Valley Man For Child Pornography


BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) -- A federal grand jury has returned a two count indictment against an Athens man for receiving and possessing child pornography.

Federal prosecutors in Birmingham announced the indictment Tuesday against 35-year-old James Thomas Boles. U.S. Attorney Alice Martin alleges Boles possessed and obtained the illicit material between Oct. 1999 and Nov. 2008.

No trial date was announced.

The case was investigated by the U.S. Postal Inspection Service.
