ALBANY, Ga. (AP) -- For the second time in less than a month, an inmate housed at the Dougherty County Jail has died after he hanged himself in his cell.
The Sheriff's Office said in a statement Monday, 36-year-old Ronald Alton Foster died Sunday night.
Doughtery County Coroner Emma Quimbley said jailers attempted to resuscitate Foster, but he was pronounced dead at around 7 p.m.
Foster was incarcerated for theft, robbery and probation violations.
