Police have arrested a man who led them on a high-speed chase through Dothan that ended with a hunt for the suspect on foot.
The name of the man, who was caught in woods behind a funeral home Thursday afternoon, was not immediately released.
Dothan police declined comment, but a state liquor control agent said it was part of an ongoing investigation into drug activity.
The Dothan Eagle reported that several other men were seen handcuffed while investigators searched some vehicles in a parking lot.
The high-speed chase ended when the suspect's vehicle stopped in front of a bridal shop. An employee in the store, Lorie Starling, said she screamed as the car approached and looked as if it would come through the window.
