An Eagle Scout from Huntsville chosen to present the National State of Scouting address to Congress has met with the president and first lady.

Tory Green met President Barack Obama at the White House on Tuesday and also got a hug from first lady Michelle Obama, who stopped to talk to them as they walked toward the Oval Office.

The 17-year-old Green's itinerary included the address to Congress Wednesday morning, along with six other Scouts.

A group of Scouts is chosen as delegates to give the annual scouting report to the Speaker of the House.
