The Dothan City Schools system is looking for a new high school principal. The school board voted Monday night to terminate the contract of Andrew Sewell, who served as principal of Dothan High School.
Dothan police arrested Sewell on Feb. 26 for allegedly for having an inappropriate relationship with a female student who was under the age of 18.
The board voted unanimously to fire Sewell. He has 10 days to appeal the board's action in circuit court.
