Florida Attorney General Bill McCollum stars on a television ad warning about Internet predators, but claims it's just part of the job.

A McCollum spokesman said Wednesday the attorney general is not using the ads to promote his political future. McCollum has not made a final decision about seeking re-election or perhaps a higher office in 2010.

Chief of Staff Joe Jacquot said McCollum's key issue since becoming attorney general in 2007 has been fighting online sex crimes. The current ad shows McCollum talking into the camera, with children walking in school hallways behind him.

The 30-second spot was produced by the same company that made McCollum's campaign ads in 2006.
