An aerial search will be conducted for a man who fell off a tugboat last week in the Black Warrior River.
Alabama Police Sgt. Tommy Cagle, a spokesman, said aircraft will be used Monday to comb an 11-mile area of the river for 34-year-old Thomas Lindley of Tuscaloosa.
Authorities presume Lindley fell overboard late Thursday night or early Friday morning. Cagle said the vessel was in Walker County headed to the Gorgas Steam Plant when the accident occurred.
The Coast Guard Auxillary along with fire and rescue units from Walker County are assisting in the search.
