ATLANTA (AP) -- Atlanta police say an early morning argument escalated to a stabbing that left six people hospitalized.
Police say a woman called around 3 a.m. saying she was driving two stabbing victims to a local hospital. Police say the victims were stabbed in the abdomen and were semi-conscious at the time.
Authorities say the incident started with an altercation between 19-year-old Luke Odonodan and Andrew Mainor in the city's Reynoldstown neighborhood. Authorities were unsure of Mainor's age. Witnesses told police Odonodan stabbed Mainor and injured others when they tried intervening. Police say the victims are in stable condition.
Odonodan suffered a cut to his lower back in the scuffle and was also hospitalized at the Atlanta Medical Center. Police charged Odonodan with five counts of aggravated assault.
