PENSACOLA, Fla A Georgia man charged along with his twin in the death of a former Pensacola newspaper reporter has pleaded no contest in Florida.
Christopher Cormier pleaded no contest Friday to accessory after the fact first-degree murder and accessory after the fact robbery. He faces up to 60 years in prison for each charge.
Cormier and his brother William had been temporarily staying with Sean Dugas in August 2012 when the man went missing. Dugas' body was found in October, encased in concrete and buried in the backyard of the Widner, Ga., home of the twins' father.
Prosecutors say the twins killed Dugas and then stole a collection of cards for the game Magic: The Gathering. The men sold some of the cards for thousands of dollars.
William Cormier's first-degree murder and robbery trial is scheduled to begin Feb. 10.
