ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Republican vice president nominee Paul Ryan is set to hold an event at an aviation facility in Florida, just a day after running mate Mitt Romney resumed heavy campaigning in the battleground state.
Ryan will speak Friday at Flightlevel Aviation at the regional airport Lakeland. Florida is home to a charged immigration debate and its 29 electoral votes are expected to be pivotal in November.
GOP presidential nominee Mitt Romney spoke in Sarasota Thursday, his second straight day holding at events in Florida. On Wednesday, the Republican nominee was in Miami taking questions from a Spanish-speaking audience at an Univision-sponsored forum at the University of Miami.
Ryan will hold events in Miami and Orlando on Saturday.
