Gas prices have fallen more than 40 straight days in the southeastern U.S. and according to AAA they aren't showing any signs of slowing down
Since late June, the average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas has dropped 26 cents in Florida.
AAA says it's unusual to see prices drop in the late summer months, but says increases in domestic oil supply are helping to offset fluctuations in demand during the busy summer travel season.
The average price for a gallon of regular unleaded gas in Florida is $3.37 a gallon. That's 11 cents cheaper than the national average.
