SMYRNA, Ga. (AP) -- Authorities say a man was rescued after he drove his car into a swimming pool in a Smyrna neighborhood.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that house painters working on the clubhouse at the Oakdale Bluffs subdivision pulled the man from the water Thursday. They said he was conscious but incoherent when he was rescued.
The driver was taken to a local hospital. His condition is unknown.
No one was at the pool when the accident happened. Smyrna is just northwest of Atlanta.
