MIAMI (AP) -- Over 2.6 million absentee and early voters have cast their ballots in Florida.
State election officials say they have received just over 1 million early votes (1,099,633) and more than 1.5 million absentee ballots (1,576,078).
Wednesday is the last day to request an absentee ballot to be mailed to you. Voters can still request an absentee ballot in person -- even on election day -- as long as it's turned in to the elections office by 7 p.m. on Nov. 6.
In Miami-Dade County, about 144,000 absentee ballots have been returned out of more than 269,000 mailed out.
Elections officials say voters should make sure they signed inside the red box on the outside of the absentee ballot envelope
