Florida Highway Patrol investigators say a motorcyclist was killed Saturday in Santa Rosa County.

According to officials 57 year old Steven Michael Cobbett of Milton, Florida lost control of his Harley Davidson around 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

Investigators believe Cobbett slid on Red Rock Road and landed in a ditch.

Lifeguard EMS arrived first and pronounced the motorcyclist dead on scene.
