Scott Appoints Five to Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission

Tallahassee, Fla. – Tuesday, Governor Rick Scott announced four appointments and one reappointment to the Criminal Justice Standards and Training Commission.

49 year old Gary T. Calhoun of Madison is the chief of police for the City of Madison. He succeeds Brian K. Lock and is appointed for a term beginning July 24th and ending August 1, 2015.

39 year old Greg S. Hutching of Chipley is the criminal justice training center director at Washington-Holmes Technical Center. He succeeds James C. Brock, Jr., and is appointed for a term beginning August 1st and ending August 1, 2016.

51 year old William “Jay” Romine of Bradenton is the chief of police for the City of Holmes Beach. He succeeds Dennis M. Jones and is appointed for a term beginning July 24th and ending August 1, 2014.

50 year old Sheriff David B. Shoar of St. Augustine is the Sheriff of St. Johns County. He succeeds Sheriff Ric L. Bradshaw and is appointed for a term beginning August 10th and ending August 1, 2016.

64 year old Steven Steinberg of Davie is the chief of police for the Aventura Police Department. He is reappointed for a term beginning August 1st and ending August 1, 2016.
