HORSESHOE BEACH, Fla. (AP) -- A search continues for two north Florida men who went missing in the Gulf of Mexico.
Florida Fish and Wildlife officials say 63-year-old Thomas E. Morrison of Jacksonville and 70-year-old Glen S. Harris of Keystone Heights have been missing since their boat overturned Saturday about 14 miles offshore of Horseshoe Beach in Hernando County.
Wildlife officials say the boat was reported overdue Saturday night and the vessel was found around 11:30 p.m. Two men -- 78-year-old Frank DiPaula and 67-year-old Thomas Grant -- were clinging to the boat.
Acting Regional Commander Capt. John Burton says the wildlife agency is continuing the search. He says their hearts go out to the families of the missing men.
The boat was towed back to the Horseshoe Beach marina.
