Teacher Kills in Alabama Crash

PHENIX CITY, Ala Russell County Sheriff Heath Taylor says 40-year-old Wileatha Brown of Tuskegee was pronounced dead at the scene of the Wednesday morning crash on U.S. 431 and Alabama Highway 169.
Russell County Schools Superintendent Mike Green said Brown was in her first year as a science teacher at Russell County High School.
Sgt. Steven Jarrett of the Alabama State Troopers says Brown was driving a sedan that collided with a semitrailer. The Columbus Ledger-Enquirer reports (http://bit.ly/19Nd7cb) that the car was pinned under the truck.
