Two Dead in St. Petersburg House Fire

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP) -- Detectives in St. Petersburg are investigating after two men were found dead in a burning home in the city's Historic Kenwood district.
The fire broke out Sunday afternoon and police say a black Ford pickup truck belonging to one of the men was missing.
Arson investigators and detectives spend hours combing through the debris Sunday afternoon.
St. Petersburg Fire Rescue officials say weather wasn't a factor in the fire. Firefighters found one man dead when they arrived. The second was found hours later buried under rubble in the laundry room. Firefighters had to leave the home at one point because the roof collapsed.
The Tampa Bay Times reports the homeowner was not home when the broke out. He returned to find the house on fire.
