The month of May means that students all over the country are gearing up for their last tests of the year.
Gulf Coast Community College knows students are studying, so they though they'd give them a little help. The school’s activity board, along with the library, decided to help the students do their best before the leave for the summer.
The library hours have been extended to give students a chance to get in some extra studying, and what better place to study than the library. They have also given students some extra incentive to stay awake and study.
Jerame King with student activities said, "Tonight, in coordination with the Gulf Coast Community College Library, the student activities board is sponsoring Midnight Madness. What we're doing is keeping the library open until midnight and providing free energy drinks and refreshments to students while they are studying for finals."
Hours are Monday through Friday from 7:15 till midnight, and Sunday 1 p.m. till midnight.
