Local Student Receives Wendy's High School Heisman Award
A Freeport High School Senior is one of twelve student athlete finalists for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award.

A Freeport High School Senior is one of twelve student athlete finalists for the Wendy’s High School Heisman Award.
Students, teachers, friends and family surprised Collin Myrick with a pep rally Monday where a Wendy’s representative presented him his award.
Myrick plays basketball, baseball and football. The finalists are judged based on their academic achievement, involvement in extracurricular activities and community leadership.
Myrick will head to New York next month where the national winners will be announced on ESPN.
