Gainesville, FL--On to basketball and in just a couple of nights the so called Sweet 16 gets under way with four games played Thursday.
The Florida Gators will be a part of one of those games. Billy Donovan and his guys coming off the two wins over Santa Barbara and UCLA, get to square off against BYU. That's the team that knocked the Gators out in the first round of the Tourney last season. Jimmer Fredette almost single handedly beating Florida in that game. This season all he's done is lead the Cougars to a 32-4 record with more than 28 points a game, he's easily one of the best players in the game right now.

Billy Donovan
Florida Head Coach

"it's incredible what he's been able to do. He's really taken his game and his team to a different level than they were a year ago. I have great admiration and respect when someone can do what he did last year, have the publicity and exposure that he did last year, and do it even better this year."

That Florida-BYU game Thursday set for 6:27 central in New Orleans. Florida's favored by 3 in that matchup.
