-Bozeman works to groom a new starting quarterback this Spring, though it's project that will go well into the Summer as well.

Southport, FL--We start with some high school football as several area teams head towards their Spring Jamborees or games.
For the Bozeman Bucks, it's a jamboree Friday with the four other Bay county programs. Bozeman will play a quarter against Bay and a quarter against Rutherford. That will be a chance to evaulaute further the heir apparant at quarterback, Jacob Martinez who is looking to fill the spot vacated by his brother Zach who is graduating.

Loren Tillman
Bozeman Head Coach

"Jacob's looked very good this year. Very similar to the type of athlete Zach was, he can run the ball, he can throw the ball. We're probably a summer away from him being ready, but we're gonna get the throwing in that he needs for him to be confident. But he did start a game last year and he did play most every game at quarterback, so he does have that experience."

That Bay County Jamboree starts at 6 with the Bay-Bozeman quarter, then it's Bay-Rutherford, Bozeman-Rutherford, and two quarters pitting Mosley and Arnold.
