For the Florida State Seminoles, Fall practice is under way. For the first time in more than three decades, the 'noles head into a season with somebody other than Bobby Bowden at the helm. That somebody is Jimbo Fisher who took the reigns in January, so he ran the team during Spring drills.
Now he and the Seminoles are officially into Fall workouts, the first coming late Thursday afternoon, five eastern time.
The cameras allowed on the field for just the first 20 minutes, the reporters then waiting around to get some of Fisher's thoughts afterwards.

"we practice like that, you know everybody learns by taking reps, not by watching. yeah the first part we break it down a little bit and have some teaching periods then get to where we got to go.

Christian Ponder
FSU Quarterback

"Coach Stoops is just as intense as Coach Andrews. The whole scheme's a lot different, and he's getting on them and pushing 'em hard. Just talking to the defensive guys they're a lot more comfortable with his schemes."

Florida State opens the season September 4th at home against Samford.
