Bay County, FL- The high school football grid iron will be busy once again as high school football starts.
Florida school's can begin fall practice Monday August 9th. It will be the first time they take the field since spring ball.
All the area high schools in the Panhandle are set to begin in shorts and helmets for the first three days of practice.
Those few days of practice give the players a chance to get accustomed to the heat, and it's the time for coaches to work on the fundamentals before the hitting begins.
All classes from 1a to 6a start practice and it runs through the end of the month when preseason games begin.
The first regular season games will be played September 3rd.
