Call it yet another first for FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher.
He's now hosted his first preseason media day. That took place Sundayy, along with the customary team pictures.
Fisher's been in charge since last January, guided the team through Spring and Summer workouts, and now feels most everything's in place as his first regular season approaches.
FSU Head Coach
"I hope so. We got a lot of guys back. I hope we can iron out some of the little details, to have more success, the guys understand the big concept of what you're trying to do. But also you got to be careful not to let 'em understand it too much as far as trying to think too much. We want them to react, keep playing knowing what they're doing. But hopefully we can make enough little changes that we can get a little more production."
Fisher and 'noles actually began workout out last week so they are now into their second week of preseason practice. The first game now just 3 and a half weeks away, at home September 4th against Samford.
