College Football

TALLAHASSEE, Fla- To college ball and some bad news on the Florida State front, starting defensive tackle Moses McCray and backup running back Tavares Pressley both lost for the season after suffering knee injuries in practice yesterday.
Both with torn ACL's, and both sustaining the injuries without contact, they were simply making cuts on the field. The loss of McCray leaves FSU without an interior lineman with more than a year of college experience.
It's rather early in Fall practice, but the losses are mounting for the 'noles, who have suspended linebacker Nigel Carr pending the settling of felony burglary charges against him, and receiver Jarmon Fortson was kicked off the team over the weekend for violating team rules.
