On to the prep level and later this week it's jamborees and preseason games for area teams, as they prep for the start of the regular season at the end of next week. For the Arnold Marlins, it's a three team jamboree at Bozeman Thursday, with the Sharks of Port St. Joe also taking part up there.
Many anxious to see how the Marlins are working to replace record setting running back Jeremy Hester, and it appears as if James Hale believes the rock will be in good hands when the fish are running it this season.

James Hale
Arnold Head Coach

"We've got a couple guys that are really good football players, a lot of speed, a lot of quickness, great balance. A lot of things that they don't have, Andre Allen is one of 'em. Great acceleration, lateral movement, could be a great, great football player, moved in here from Miami. He's gonna be one of our go-to backs. Jamari Hughes can run. Joel Evans can run, Joel Evans up to about 200 pounds now, no one knows about him. He is a power back and he's hard to bring down. No one's seen him run. He's gonna be one of our better players."

All that in support of now senior q-b Blake DeBoard, so a lot of pieces seem to be in place for the Marlins. That jamboree Thursday starts at 6.
