Now it's over to Rutherford's practice field as first year head coach Jeff Rolson works towards his first game guiding the Rams!
Rolson's worked his guys through Spring, through Summer workouts, and now the first few weeks of Fall practice. The team played it's preseason classic Thursday, falling to Fort Walton Beach 14-10.
This Friday the Rolson era begins for real when the Rams travel west to face Escambia. Monday I asked the first year coach how he felt about all of this heading into the regular season.

Jeff Rolson
Rutherford Head Coach

Well you know I think the kids are doing a good job. I think the thing I'm most pleased with is our discipline on the field and the kids staying positive all the way through. But you know there's really no moral victories when it comes to the scoreboard for us. We haven't played a game that's counted officially but it counts to me and we need to win football games so we need to get that started this week."

The Coach says he wants to see his guys be more physical, and technically sound then they are right now. That game Friday at Escambia set for 7:30.
