High School Football

To the prep football level and among the matchups in week one that features two local squads going head to head, the game between Liberty and Bozeman at the latter's stadium.
The Bulldogs coming off a 28-21 win over Chipley Friday in their preseason Classic, an extension the coach believes, of a good August camp.

Grant Grantham
Liberty Head Coach

"We've had a great Summer so far, and now that the season's rolled around our kids have worked extremely hard. We had a good preseason game against Chipley and hopefully a good week this week."

Grantham and his guys coming off a 10-2 season that ended in the second round of the playoffs. The Dog's though with plenty of spots to fill due to graduation, including the likes of Terrance Evans, number 7 here, and Kevin Mcray, number 5. Those two carried a bulk of the load and that begs the question what can folks expect from this year's pack of Bulldogs?

"Our fans are probably like most people, they don't know what to expect from us this year. And in a way we're kind of like that. You know we expect to win, we work to hard not to expect to win. That doesn't mean we're gonna win but we do expect to win."

Bozeman by the way coming off a split in it's Jamboree, a win over St. Joe, a loss to Arnold.
