PORT ST. JOE, Fla- Friday night brought an season opening matchup of two area teams head to head. Coach Sorrells and the Bay Tornadoes traveling south to take on coach Barth and his Tiger Sharks of St. Joe.

Bay opened things up with a Kevin Husum pass to Terrance Lowder pass, for 18 yards to the St. Joe 8. A few plays later Lowder punches it in on the ground but the PAT fails, making it 6-0.

In the second quarter Bay capped another long drive with the give to number Lowder, he's in, two point conversion made it 13-0.

St Joe gets a long kickoff return but on the ensuing play from scrimmage, and QB Jesse Hyman's pass is tipped, and then picked off by Jakarri Edwards, and he's off to the races, he goes 86 yards for another Bay score, the Tornadoes win big on opening night 47-6.

The Tornadoes take on Mosley next Friday at home, while the Sharks visit Rutherford on Thursday.
