Last week's opponent is nothing compared to what the Seminoles face Saturday.

Florida State fans are looking ahead to quite the showdown for Jimbo Fisher and his Florida State football team. Sure the Seminoles looked rather sharp in their opener Saturday, whipping Samford by 53.
Certainly building up some confidence rather important for Christian Ponder and that offense, because this week the test will be so much tougher. For starters, they'll be playing on the road, and they'll be playing against 10th Oklahoma, a team loaded with big time athletes!

Jimbo Fisher
FSU Head Coach

"You're going to one of the premier football programs in America, one of the best coached football teams in America. I mean it's gonna be a very stiff challenge. We have a great challenge ahead of us, and one that I think is it's gonna be very interesting to see where we're at right now."

Christian Ponder
FSU Quarterback

"I'm excited for it. Big 12 matchup. You know I grew up around the Big 12. You know kind of making a name for the ACC and everything. You know I know it's gonna be a tough game. I grew up watching Texas and O-U games, it's gonna be tough but it's exciting."

Ponder, as he indicated there, from the Dallas area. Kickoff in Norman set for 2:30 central, the Seminoles head west as 9 point underdogs.
