It's a big matchup set for the prep level come Friday night at Tommy Oliver Stadium, as the Bay Tornadoes play host to one of their Bay county rivals, Mosley. Tonight we'll focus on the former. Coach Sorrells and the Tornadoes kicking off their regular season with a "w" on the road at St. Joe last Friday.
Bay a 3-A team, the Tigersharks are 1-A, so Bay with some size and numbers advantages, still coach Sorrells pleased overall with the way his guys performed in week one.

Frank Sorrells
Bay Head Coach

"Well it was good to get the win, coming off the tough kickoff classic. We got a new quarterback and some backs in the backfield and things that we're trying to get better. Certainly it's a big win for us, but we understand that Mosley's a lot more polished and a bigger opponent to face this week for sure."

One thing in particular that stood out in that Bay game, the Tornado defenders did a good job of converging on the ball, again and again and again.

"We did have some gang tackling, we've been working hard on pursuit to the ball, getting to the ball and the importance of that. The hot weather here lately is really a thing we've had to fight through. I guess all teams have had that, but certainly that's something we gotta do. But hussling at all times is a big thing and we did see some signs of more hussle to the ball like you said, that really helps us."

Game time at Tommy Oliver Friday set for 7, we'll hear from the Mosley camp tomorrow night.
