We start on the collegiate level and let's just say things are going rather well for Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide.
Two games into the season, and it's two convincing wins on the board for Alabama, which has allowed the Tide to keep a rather firm grip on the number one spot in the AP and Coaches polls.
Saturday 'bama played well in all facets of the game as they whipped Penn State 24-3. The defense still hasn't given up a touchdown, the offense looks sharp. This week Saban and company setting their sights on Duke, and the first game away from Bryant Denny.
Alabama Head Coach
"I'm sure that everybody we play will be ready to play us. They are a very well coached team. It's our first game on the road for us which is a challenge for our players to be able to focus and be able to do the things that we need to do to play the kind of football to the standard that we want to play to on a consistent basis all the time."
Oh by the way, it appears they'll be getting Heisman winner Mark Ingram back for this week's game at Duke. Ingram back at practice today taking some reps..That game at Duke Saturday set for a 2:30 central kickoff, the Tide favored by 23.
