High School Football

Now to one of the games on tap for Friday night. For the second straight week, the Mosley Dolphins playing an intra county rival. Last
week it was aforementioned Bay, this week it's the Rutherford Rams, this county showdown is our Coastal Auto Detailing game of the week.

Perry Brown
Mosley Head Coach

"..I don't think you have to do too much on motivating the kids for this game. Like you said earlier, I've been here six years and we've been able to pull them all out against Rutherford. But on the other hand, Rutherford has a new coach a new situation, a new offense, different players. Yeah it should be a hard fought game, a lot of these kids know each other, living just several miles apart. It should be a lot of fun.

Jeff Rolson
Rutherford Head Coach

"...We want to be the best every time we step on the field. We have an opportunity to play the county schools, two of them are district schools, Mosley doesn't happen to be a district school. We want to be known as the best program in Bay County, and the best in the Panhandle, and we got a ways to get that done. That's our goal and we're gonna keep working until that happens."

Rutherford is 1-1, after an opening loss to Escambia and then a win last Thursday over St. Joe. Mosley, which has won 8 straight over the Rams, starting the season with wins over North Florida Christian and the Tornadoes. That game a 7 o'clock kickoff at T.O. Friday night.
