PANAMA CITY, Fla- Arnold travels to Tommy Oliver stadium for the annual county match-up with Bay Friday in the Coastal Auto Detailing game of the week.

When Bay and Arnold get together for a football game it's usually exciting.

"If you can't get excited about playing teams in your area then your not much of a player, and I hope that both teams will be prepared and both teams will be working hard to give their best shot," Bay head coach Frank Sorrells said.

The Tornadoes have a 2-1 record so far, with wins over Port St. Joe, and Marianna, as well as a close 25-23 loss to Mosley.

"They're extremely fast, extremely aggressive." Arnold head coach James Hale said. "They've got speed in the receivers, they've got speed in the secondary. They're a really good football team."

The Marlins come into the game with two impressive wins at home. Winning by a combined score of 97-12 over Amite County out of Mississippi, and Munroe last week.

"They definitely have a lot of athletes and they have some speed and strength in the line." Sorrells added. "Certainly some game breakers in the backfield with their running backs and receivers and so forth."

These two looked to be pretty evenly matched, so this rivalry will most likely be won by the team that can execute the best.

"I think we can both run the ball, and throw the ball, so I think it's going to come down to the team that makes the least mistakes. Fumbles, turnovers, penalties, things of that nature." Hale added. "I think both teams are going to play really hard. Anytime you have a a county game usually teams play really hard in those games."

Don't forget this is also the first 3a district 1 game for both of these teams, so the stakes are as high as they can be. The winner will take not only bragging rights but an early advantage in one of the best districts in the state.

Game time is set for 7 at Tommy Oliver Stadium. Arnold has won the last two meetings, after Bay opened the series with three wins.
