Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher hopes the Seminoles' first game, a 59-6 win against Samford, is exactly how today's second home against BYU goes as well.
We start on the Florida State football front. The Seminoles, it appears, have recovered nicely since the beatdown they took
at Oklahoma. They came back and whipped BYU and Wake convincingly. Ponder and the offense at times a tad sloppy these last two games, but putting up the points, nonetheless. The defense seems like it's on a mission. So as they get set to head north to take on ACC foe Virginia Saturday it seems like it's all systems GO!
FSU Head Coach
"We're playing together well as a team, offense, defense, special teams. The defense I think is playing tremendous right now. We just need to continue to grow and to remember how to prepare and to keep remembering why they're having success."
"We have to prepare and expect a really tough game. Virginia's a good solid team. We're just gonna have to be ready. We have to prepare ourselves for a different environment and hopefully respond a lot better than we did last time."
