"We're really excited as we're gearing up for the tenth annual Emerald Coast Blue Marlin Classic, which will start next Wednesday. We've got a lot of boats that are already here. Last year we had 71 boats registered, right now we're sitting out 66 that are pre-registered, so we're hoping that number's gonna creep up and get well over 70 this year."

Those 71 boats last year taking the total prize purze up to 1.4 million bucks.

Team Galati, representing Galati Yacht Sales of Destin, the big winner. That team hauling in 135 grand by winning the catch and releast division with one blue and five white marlin released. It's expected the prize purse will once again top seven figures come next week.
