2 Panhandle Stars Help Wichita Past Ohio State

Los Angeles, CA-- Behind the 22 combined points of two former Panhandle Conference players, the 9 seed Wichita Shockers were able to get by the number 2 seed Ohio State Buckeyes.

Carl Hall, of Northwest Florida State, put up 8 points, 4 rebounds, 1 steal and 6 blocks as his Panhandle counterpart, Malcolm Armstead dropped 14 points, 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 assists.

The Panhandle led Shockers will play the winner of Louisville vs. Duke next week in the Final Four.
