Tournament Director Shawna Harris says the boat count is already way up from last year's tournament!
"Last year we took a little bit of a hit from the weather, some of the boats backed out. But they fortunately did roll over to this year, so we've been a little ahead of the game since day one, we've had a lot of boats sign up from last year. Last year we had just over 30 boats that fished the tournament. This year we already have well over 50 boats that have already pre- registered, and more on the way."
And despite the low boat count, the event usually attracts 70 plus teams, two records fell last year.
