Also kicking it off Friday night, the Blountstown Tigers who are looking to improve upon a 3-7 season. Coach Greg Jordan did lose 11 seniors from that squad, but this time around has 10 senior players. He's also quick to point out the Tigers won 3 of their last five last season, so they got a taste of winning. He also feels like he has some talent on the offensive side of the ball.

Greg Jordan
Blountstown Head Coach

"I would say our strength right now is our skill players. We've got a lot of kids back, our quarterback is back, running backs and receivers are back from last year, you know our skill right now is the strength of our football team."

The Tigers open upFriday at home against another 1A progam, Sneads.

"....You gotta stop their speed, stop their skill kids. Limit their yards after contact, and try to keep the football and limit their possessions and touches.

A good recipe for every team out there trying to win. That game in Blountstown Friday night set for 7 central.
