Up first the lady Indians of Chipola taking on Georgia Perimeter, usually a nationally ranked college in womens hoops.

In the 2nd half on the break and Chipola's Malesha Peterson gets the up and under, hoop and the harm adds the free throw makes it 54-52 Chipola.

Later in the 2nd half Tykiesha O’Neil with the dish to the post and Darrlita Taylor with the finish Chipola down 58-56.

Late in the game and Peterson again going to the hoop she misses but Kendra Powel has her back and puts it in but it's too little too late for Chipola going 1-1 in the tournament losing 70-66

The other game Saturday Gulf coast the host team taking on Vincennes coming into the tournament ranked 10th nationally while the Commodores are ranked number 1.

First half and Gulf Coast was on the move, Andrea Smith the All-American with the shot and bucket.

Then Smith again gets it and knocks down the three, 5 points early for her.

Gulf Coast up 19-5 when Alyssa Bennett gets into the action hitting a jumper making it 21-5.

The Commodores defend their house and number one ranking winning 91 to 74.
