Coach David Lane dealing with almost an entirely new bunch of players this season, so he said going into the year there would be some bumps in the road, and he was right.

Heading into the Christmas break, the team's played 14 games, with an 8-6 record!

Coach Lane said, "Well it's been up and down for us. We've had, we won some big games, we've lost some close ones. We lost three games in a row, and then we turn back around and we win five games in a row. And then we turn back around and lose our last game here before the break so with a young team, an inexperienced team you're gonna expect fluctuations just in your results but it's been a very interesting non conference season for us so far, a lot different than it's ever been."

Chipola is off until a January second game against Central Florida, the team that beat them Monday, then come January 9th it's into conference play against rival Gulf Coast.
