New Rutherford Football Coach

But the Rams have hired Jeff Rolson, who will move north after four successfull years at Osceola High School in central Florida, his overall record there 36-13.

Rolson confirming to the Orlando Sentinel yesterday he's resigning his current job to become Rutherford's next head coach. He succeeds Greg Rivers who's retiring after five seasons at the helm.

Rolson led Osceola to the postseason in 3 of his four years there, including a 14-1 season in 2007, he led the Kowboys to the 5A State Championship game, losing to Aquinas in that title game.

In talking about his departure at Osceola Rolson's quoted by the Sentinel as saying "I have the chance to be a coach and administrator at ¤2 ]] C1.5 G 0 [[

Rutherford that financially is just too good for me and my family to pass up".

Again Rolson will be introduced as the new head coach at the school Friday morning
